Speak, Lord, Your Servants Are Listening
Speak Lord, Your Servants Are Listening: Prayer Exercises for Personal Healing and Collective Discernment.
This prayer journal combines two sets of prayer exercises: one for personal healing, and the other for collective discernment. There can at times be a temptation with regards to healing for us to get stuck navel gazing. Similarly, with regards to decision making, there can often be a temptation to think our way to solutions–absent God’s input. These exercises offer a way to restore the initiative to God in both cases. It is only to the degree that we are personally at least aspiring to allow the Lord to heal us that our marriage, family, parish, or ministry be healthy.
